Snake Bite 17 is the absolute best control and power string on the planet. It will not last as long as 16, but if you are a consistent string breaker use the 16. It has lasted the longest without breaking. Also this is the easiest poly to string. Remember 7 sided HEPTAGONAL beats 8 sided HEXAGONAL. I have used both and will always recommend that you try 16, 17, SNAKE BITE. You will not be disappointed. OH! did I forget to tell you, the price is great. Happy Playing.

I have used RPM Blast and Volkl Cyclone. This string is better than both at a discount price! I string 5-10 racquets weekly and everyone I have strung with the Snake Bite has been very positive. I had such a good reaction, I am b=now using it too!

I have sample 67 strings so far, including snake bite. Being playing tennis and string rackets for about 20 years. Snake bite has the most spin and control of all.It is stiff but it has an amazing felling (crisp). I compare this string with blue gear and all signum pro strings. However, blue gear and signum pro (all strings) has little bit more power and about 15% less spin. Snake byte is a control string and very durable. Lots of spin.Little power. Played 30 hours and still good. I recommend the 1.25 version for more power. 1.30 gage is has less power. Stringing: 1.30 snake bite main at 54 lbs and 1.30/ 54 lbs dunlop explosive(soft co-poly). Recomendation: Use synthetic on cross. Use 1.25 gage. My ratings: 3/5. Why: -1 point: Little or power -1 point: stiffness (note mostly poly\'s are stf) +1 point: Spin +1 point: for control and durability. +1 point: price Service rating: 5/5, Reliable source for purchasing and immediate shipping. Friendly too.

This product is awesome for topspin and slice. The snake bite string realy grabs the string and I'm hitting drop shots and chip returns of serve with great results. The string also as plenty of power @ 5lbs less than my crosses wich is golden set's topspin torqe @ 60lbs.My weapon of choice is the K-factor pro tour.Awesome string even better price!

The spin generated with Snake-Bite is unmatched by any other polyester string I have played with. Its as good or better than Tecnifibre Red Code. Eric Hechtman 2 time ACC & Big East Champion

I have been playing with poly 17/optimum 17 blend but the venom of snake-bite17/optimum 17 blend has taken my game to the next level. I love the feel and playability of this combination. Most recently, it took me to the West kootenay Open Tennis men's Doubles Final. Ron Stinson Teaching/playing pro Nelson tennis Club

I have found that the Snake-Bite 17 provides a nice blend of spin and power. This has allowed me to hit a ball that is heavy without losing much speed. It also seems to be just as durable as the other Golden Set Poly 17 strings which I have been happy with in the past.
