My son is a 'heavy topspin' college tennis player. Over this past summer we decided to experiment with some different string types. He was using Babolat RPM Blast exclusively until we discovered Golden Set 'Snake-Bite' strings. With the RPM Blast, I would actually use sandpaper to remove the finish on the newly strung racquets. I knew it would shorten the life of the string but it would also grip the ball immediately. With Snake-Bite string, the texture of the string itself grips the ball from start to finish. My tennis enthusiasts in Canada and Phillipines and I would like to thank Golden set for the good quality of their products, very reasonable prices, and shipment is fast too. I use both snakebite and powercord. Snakebite is a really good and quality string that enhances spin but I prefer powercord because I found it soft and friendly in my arm. The price is very reasonable on both strings. My level is 5.0, right handed,and I love to flatten and spin the ball. I usually play 2-3 times a week.

I have purchased classic, synthetic gut and snake-bite from Golden Set. They are of good quality and good prices compared to brands like Technifibre, Babolat etc. The customer service is good and I get the material quickly.
I bought a lot of strings and grip with you that I have sent to Africa to friends and they were satisfied with the quality and price.

I have coached junior and senior high school tennis for approx. 20 years and also string their racquets. I have learned a lot about string and rackets over time. The quality of Golden Set string is second to none. I cannot tell the difference between Golden Sets and the high cost racket brand strings. I can usually change a player's string to Golden Set string without any problem. I use a lot of synthetic gut for the players who are not string breakers and string with a two color look, black mains white crosses. For the string breakers, I was stringing the mains and crosses in poly or copoly but when we started to notice soreness in the elbows we switched to a hybrid with Snakebite 17 for the mains, and Golden Sets synthetic gut 16 for the crosses and this works great. Quality Score is an A+. Price is A+ and it's the main reason I keep buying all my string and grip from Golden Set. Finally, customer service is A+. When I place an order, it is on my front porch in a few days. I'm sold on your products, your price, and your service. Thanks

I play at the 4.5 level out of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indio Wells, California.I tell everyone I hit with Golden Set tennis string and that it is the best string I've ever hit with, but it's also the best value you can find. I hit with the snakebite, 16 gauge, today. It was awesome! No fear of the ball sailing on me. Strung at 53# on an aero pro drive, I was killing it! Anyway, I can go on forever. Thanks, again, for making such a great product. I couldn't be happier with Golden Set strings. I had been using the traditional 16 gauge poly string, but recently switched to the snakebite. The strings are incredibly lively and last forever...almos-t too long! Thank you for making such incredible quality strings for players on a budget.

I play at a national level back home and also coach for the NZTA (New Zealand Tennis Academy). I had training this morning and all I can say is WOW....This truly is one of the best strings I have ever tried. The spin, ball pocketing and comfort were all exceptional! . Provides great control even at 48 lbs? Very durable, lasts much longer than past strings.

I was looking for cheap string that gives more spin because rpm blast is to expensive. so we tried kirschbaum and it didn't last long. so we tried snake-bite and It not only gave more spin, but it last longer than both other strings. =)

I have compared Snake Bite to all other Hexa 6/sided Hepta 7/sided and Octa 8/sided strings on the market. I found nothing is close to Snake Bites spin, control, touch and durability as well as price.

It gives such a great spin & power. I believe in the string totally!!!!

As a 5.0 player who has religiously played with multifilaments for the past 11 years and breaks strings far too often, I decided to give GS strings a shot and have been thoroughly impressed with all of their products. I never thought I would enjoy playing with polyesters again after my bad experience with them in the early 2000s, but GS polys have changed my mind, particularly Snakebite. It offers tremendous spin and control, and essentially extends the court of play and lowers the net, allowing me to really hit out on the ball. Durability is fantastic and I love that I'm not having to restring so often(with multi I would break every 3 weeks; Snakebite lasts 6+ before it's ready to come out). Not only is the string a value, but the durability makes it an even greater cost savings.

Great string. It's not hard on the arm at all and I get tons of spin and control on the ball.
